About

Brad Mixner was bitten by the travel bug very early in life, with a father who was an aerospace engineer for Boeing Airplane Company and a mother who was an administrator for Pacific Northern Airlines [PNA] in Seattle, Washington.  While his family traveled regularly via ground and air while growing up, this travel bug quickly became an affliction while attending high school in suburban Cleveland, Ohio.   Brad was selected to participate in the American Field Service [AFS] Intercultural Program as a student in Aarburg, Switzerland, where he lived with a hard working  family on a dairy farm.  This complete immersion into a foreign culture was an amazing experience that left Brad with a passion to experience new destinations and cultures around the world.

Brad celebrated his graduation from university with a return to Europe, whimsically riding the rails and ferries across the continent as a backpacker.  This was the first of many trips around the globe, with travel becoming an integral part of his personal and professional life.  To date he has visited over 25 countries on 3 continents and is approaching 1,000,000 lifetime flight miles.  He has leveraged this experience to become a trusted advisor and resource to family, friends and organizations seeking advice on frequent traveler programs, itinerary development, destination information and, of course, “the best deals” on the market.
